19TH Annual Dinner

Each year, the Scholarship Fund board joins forces with automotive industry manufacturers and suppliers to select worthy candidates who are recognized at the Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner. The financial success of the Dinner is made possible by the contributions of many individuals and corporations, including NABAS member companies.

The 19th Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner was held May 15, 2007 at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan. Hundreds of attendees watched as eleven high school seniors received Scholarship awards. The awardees, outstanding African American students, plan to pursue careers in business, technology, or other careers directly related to the automotive industry.
