21st Annual Luncheon

Each year, the Scholarship Fund board joins forces with automotive industry manufacturers and suppliers to select worthy candidates who are recognized at the Annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon. The financial success of the luncheon is made possible by the contributions of many individuals and corporations, including NABAS member companies.

The 21st Annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon was held on May 12, 2009 at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan. Hundreds of attendees watched as ten high school seniors received Scholarship awards. The awardees, outstanding African American students, plan to pursue careers in business, technology, or other careers directly related to the automotive industry.
